Honda aims to provide the best customer experience at all of its 900 Authorised Exclusive Dealerships (HEADs) and 4,800 touch points.

Honda aims to provide the best customer experience at all of its 900 Authorised Exclusive Dealerships (HEADs) and 4,800 touch points.

On its way to strengthening its network in the country, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has achieved another milestone. The company has inaugurated its 900th Honda Authorised Exclusive Dealership (HEAD), all offering 4S solutions under one roof - Sales, Service, Spare Parts and Safety across the country. Moreover, the company has increased the number of its touch points to 4,800, which gives it one of the largest two-wheeler networks in India.

All the HEADs in India offers 4S solutions under one roof -- Sales, Service, Spare Parts and Safety -- and around 75 per cent of the Honda dealerships are located in rural and semi-urban areas. Another interesting fact is that 500 of the overall HEADs in the country have been added in the past 5 years only.

Commenting on the new milestone of 900th authorised dealership, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president, sales & marketing, HMSI, said, "We have grown exponentially in the last 15 years of existence in India, in terms of sales, product portfolio, production capacity and network. The penetration in smaller towns is a critical part of our India strategy. Along with rapid capacity expansion, introduction of new products across categories and strengthening our network in the metro and urban locations, we are now focusing on increasing our foothold in the semi-urban and rural areas. Honda is now extending its reach to the last mile with 80% of the touch points added this financial year being only in the semi-urban and rural locations. We are confident that our growing network will cater to the increasing demand for Honda 2Wheelers and realise higher customer satisfaction in terms of services provided by Honda network."

Honda is the leading automatic scooter manufacturer in India and the second largest company in the two-wheeler segment. Now, the company aims to further increase its network by adding 500 more touch points, totalling the number to 5,300 before this financial year end. Apart from that, Honda is also focusing on increasing its production capacity as well as bringing new products under various categories. Besides the appreciable quality of the products, the skilled staff at the dealerships ensures one of the best two-wheeler owning experiences to all Honda customers.
