Honda Navi Special Editions Now Offered For No Additional Cost

The discount is offered on the Adventure, Chrome and Color editions of the Navi and is expected to last for a short period

The discount is offered on the Adventure, Chrome and Color editions of the Navi and is expected to last for a short period

Honda is offering a discount of Rs 5000 on the accessorised versions of its nifty bike/scooter Navi. The two-wheeler initially lured a lot of buyers, thanks to its unique setup. The current offer, however, seems to be a direct result of the fast approaching BS-IV compliance deadline set for April 1, 2017 by the authorities. Clearly, the Japanese manufacturer wants to clear all the BS-III Navi. Buyers can now avail the aforementioned discount on all the three accessorised Navis available on sale, namely: the Chrome, Adventure and the Color.

This means that the Navi is now available at Rs 43,139 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is the base price of the standard variant. You can also book the Navi form the ‘Navi’ mobile app available on both, the AppStore and the Playstore. On the flip side, the offer certainly seems a bit harsh for someone who bought the Navi only a week or so ago, and the company should have declared such an offer well in advance. But, that’s how strange marketing can get.

Speaking of the special editions of the Navi, you get a big windscreen, headlamp guard, side guards, hand protectors, under-tank storage compartment with the Adventure version. This particular version also gets an extended luggage tray with provisions to mount an external storage compartment, fork protectors, crash bung and an off-beat camouflage colour option.

The Color edition features body graphics, under-tank storage, body-coloured fork protectors, body-coloured headlamp guard, leg-guard and grab rails. The Chrome edition, on the other hand, gets the same styling features as the Color, except a few additional parts like the headlamp surround, leg-protectors and rear grab rails are shiny and lustrous.

The currently available Navi is powered by a 110cc BS-III motor with 8PS (@7000rpm) of power and 8.96Nm (@5500rpm) of peak torque, which is on par with the competition. If you don’t want to go for the BS-III version you can wait until Honda bring the BS-IV compliant one, but then you’ll have to pay the entire amount on the accessorised versions without any discounts. On the the bright side, your BS-IV Navi will create a little less pollution than the current one, while matching the current Navi in the performance department.

Outstanding

We are using this since 2018 and this is an outstanding scooter with a very good mileage with low maintenance cost and daily life use. And the speed of the scooter is nearly touch 80 so it is as a good thing. Overall i will give 10 out of 10 for mileage and maintenance cost. And for looks i will give 5 out of 10 i'm not satisfied with looks of the scooter.Read More

It was an excellent pick

It was an excellent pick for the middle class and students. It had this elegant look of a bike and feel of a scooty. I wish they roll out again in future.
