Honda has showcased its foldable e-scooter, the Motocompacto at Auto Expo 2025. The e-scooter is meant to be a fun and alternative means of urban mobility.
The Motocompacto gets an innovative foldable design that makes it easy to carry around. The e-scooter gets subtle styling elements on its body with very small Honda branding. It also gets a foldable seat and handlebar. It measures 742-millimeter (mm) long, 94mm wide, and 536mm tall and can be easily carried and stored. The e-scooter has a wheelbase of just 742mm and a seat height of 622mm. The scooter only weighs about 19kg.
The Motocompacto gets a permanent magnet direct-drive motor with a peak power output of 490W and 16Nm of torque. The e-scooter gets a claimed range of 19.31km and a top speed of 24.14kmph. It gets a 0.7 kWh battery pack which can be charged via 110V socket in 3 hours and 30 minutes. The Motocompacto is currently on sale abroad and it is unlikely to arrive in India anytime soon.
