For 2021, the 150cc Honda commuter has received only cosmetic updates

Honda has launched the updated CB150 Verza in Indonesia. For 2021, the bike gets new colours: Bold Red, Macho Matte Black, and Masculine Black. Unlike the sporty CB150R Streetfire launched last month, the CB150 Verza is pegged as a commuter so it gets simpler mechanicals.

Nestled in a diamond steel frame, its air-cooled 150cc SOHC single-cylinder motor makes 13.04PS and 12.73Nm. It uses a 5-speed gearbox.

You get a telescopic front fork and a pair of preload-adjustable dual rear shocks while braking is via a front disc and a rear drum setup. The CB150 Verza is offered in two variants: spoked wheels with tube tyres and cast alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.

Its 773mm seat height is fairly accessible for shorter riders. It's pretty light too, at 129kg, so it should be easy to manoeuvre in city traffic.

In Indonesia, the Honda CB150 Verza is priced from IDR 20,290,000 (approximately Rs 1.04 lakh). While the pricing sounds alluring, it gets the bare minimum in terms of features. A simple LED DRL or an ABS (mandatory in India for bikes above 125cc), which are pretty much the norm these days, fail to make the cut.

Moreover, Honda has no plans to bring the CB150 Verza to India. If you’re looking for a bike in the same price range, check out the TVS Apache RTR 160 or the Pulsar 150 which comes in a lot cheaper.
