The brand has revealed the price of the bike via its official website

The BS6 Xtreme 200T costs Rs 18,800 more than the carb variant launched back in 2019. The bike remains cosmetically and mechanically unchanged apart from complying with BS6 norms. The 200T is a road-biased bike.

Hero MotoCorp has silently launched the BS6 XPulse 200T in India at Rs 112,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). That’s about Rs 18,800 more than the last known price of the carbureted 200T. Unfortunately, the extra premium doesn’t fetch you any extra goodies, apart from of course fuel-injection and a larger cat-con.

It continues to be powered by the same 199.6cc motor which makes 18.1PS at 8500rpm and 16.15Nm at 6500rpm. That’s a minor dip of 0.3PS and 0.95Nm. But, if the BS6 XPulse 200 is anything to go by, the fueling is likely to be much better than the BS4 model. The transmission is the same 5-speed unit as before.

There’s no change in its underpinnings either. The BS6 XPulse 200T continues to use the same diamond-frame suspended off a telescopic fork and a 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes at either end with single-channel ABS.

The XPulse 200T makes sense if you’re primarily using the bike for city commutes or for occasional highway runs. It’s comfortable, packs a decent set of features and hardware to handle Indian roads. It competes against the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise and the BS6 Suzuki Intruder.
