It has been more than a year since Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp collaborated to develop and launch the Harley-Davidson X440. The roadster gets a new look with new colour options launched while the prices remain unchanged.

The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in 3 variants: Denim, Vivid and S. The new colours have been launched in the Vivid and S variants. Let’s check them out:

Denim, entry-level variant, is priced at Rs 2,39,500 (ex-showroom Delhi) and gets no new colours. It’s available in the Mustard Denim colour only. It features spoke wheels with tube tyres, and stickered logos to keep the price more accessible.

The mid-variant, Vivid, priced at Rs 2,59,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) gets two new attractive colours: Mustard & Goldfish Silver. These will be available along with the earlier offerings – Metallic Thick Red & Metallic Dark Silver. Now the bike also gets a 3D medallion as standard. This variant features alloy wheels and tubeless tyres making it the best bang for your buck in the X440 line-up.

The top-spec S variant, priced at Rs 2,79,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) was earlier only available in the Matte Black colour, now it also comes in Baja Orange colour. This being the top variant is feature-rich and comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels, built-in LTE connectivity, geofencing, and remote immobilisation.

The specifications of the Harley-Davidson X440 remain the same; it will continue to be powered by the same single-cylinder oil-cooled 440cc engine, producing 27.4PS at 6000rpm & 38Nm at 4000rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, complemented by a slip-and-assist clutch aiding in easy shifting between gears.

While the bike is mechanically unchanged, these new colour options look really nice and offer potential buyers more choices. The Harley-Davidson X440 rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Triumph Speed 400, Honda H'ness CB350, Yezdi Roadster and Jawa 42.
