The 2021 KTM RC 200 has been spotted testing in Pune yet again. We had already covered all the updates on the bike comprehensively in our previous report, however, we missed out on a couple of crucial details. The new spy images give us a glimpse of the bike's updated console and triple clamp.
A closer look reveals the 2021 RC 200 is running the same monochrome LED console seen on the 250 Adventure. As a result, it misses out on the control cubes that help you navigate through the menu options on the 390 Duke. Don’t expect Bluetooth connectivity either.
The second crucial update is the clip-on handlebars which are now mounted below the triple clamp, just like the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Despite the different mounting positions, the bars are at the same height as the triple clamp. Simply put, you can now adjust the height of the clip-ons as per your riding style.

So you have the option of dropping it down for an aggressive riding posture for track days or keeping it as it is for city/weekend rides. That means the 2021 RC 200 isn’t going to be an easy-going bike, in fact, it will offer a layer of adjustability for riders.
The rest is pretty much the same. The 2021 model will feature an all-new design with slimmer fairings, headlamp assembly, tail piece, grab rails, and even new minimalistic alloy wheels.
The engine’s likely to remain the same as well -- a BS6-compliant 199.5cc single-cylinder engine that makes 25PS and 19.2Nm. There doesn’t seem to be any change on the hardware front either. The bike is likely to come with the same USD fork, monoshock, and braking setup.
Expect the bike to be launched in the coming weeks at around Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The current-gen model is priced at Rs 2.03 lakh. It will compete against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 in its segment.
