EICMA 2024: KTM 390 Adventure And Other Upcoming KTM Bikes Revealed

KTM has revealed the names of the bikes which they will be unveiling at EICMA 2024, and it includes the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure R & the 390 Enduro R. The brand had shared an announcement recently, confirming that they will be present at EICMA 2024, which will take place from 5-10 November 2024 in Milan Italy. 

The KTM 390 Adventure R and the 390 Enduro R are upcoming bikes that will be launched in India. We have already seen many instances of the bikes being tested in India. The upcoming 390 Adventure features a very different design when compared to the outgoing model. The 390 Adventure features a rally bike style design, with the vertically stacked twin-projector LED headlights and massive looking wind-screen.

It gets a new KTM 390 Duke derived trellis main frame, but with a different subframe. Another interesting bit is the new rally-tower style instrument console, which makes the bike stand out.

The Enduro 390 on the other hand will be a proper dual sport offering, with the enduro-inspired small headlight and raised front fender. It’ll feature a sharp design with more compact tank extensions to match the style.

Both the bikes will be powered by the same 398.63cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, engine which produces 46PS and 39Nm. The engine is expected to power both the bikes with a slightly different tune, when compared to the KTM 390 Duke, to meet the ADV/Enduro nature of both.

We expect the 390 Adventure R and the 390 Enduro to be launched in India by the end of 2024 or the first half of 2025, with an expected price which is around the Rs 3.8 lakh mark ex-showroom. 

KTM is also planning on showcasing some of their higher capacity offerings as well along with the brand’s new AMT (automatic manual transmission) gearbox as well. The brand will also showcase KTM 990 RC R, the brand’s first road legal full faired big bike in almost 15 years. 

Coming to the unveils, we can expect to see the 2025 1390 Super Adventure R and S Evo, the 2025 1380 Super Duke GT, and the 990 Duke R. That said, these bikes are unlikely to be launched in India any time soon.
