The iconic Pulsar arguably got its biggest styling update in 2 decades

    Bajaj Pulsar 150: What's New?

Bajaj recently launched the updated Pulsar 150 priced between Rs 1,08,772 and Rs 1,15,481 (all prices ex-showroom). While the mechanicals remain unchanged, the new Pulsar gets revised styling elements that make it feel fresher. Here’s a quick look at everything that’s new:

    All-LED Lights

The biggest update on the Bajaj Pulsar 150 are the LED headlight and turn signals, making it the first time a classic Pulsar gets all-LED lights. It now also gets a new headlight cowl design, which we think suits the bike quite well.

    New Colours & Graphics

Bajaj has also introduced 4 new colours, along with updated graphics. The bike is offered in blue, green, grey and red. Among these, the green easily stands out as our favourite. The green hue is unique and is paired with contrasting orange graphics, bringing out the bike’s sporty character. Overall, these changes do a good job of making this Bajaj bike feel newer without overdoing the styling.

    New Variant

Another notable update is the addition of a new variant between the base and top-spec versions. The new Single Disc UG (Upgraded) model offers kick-start, tyre hugger-delete, split seats and grab rails – with a front disc and rear drum brake. It’s a good middle ground for buyers who want something more premium than base but don’t want to stretch for the top variant. Interestingly, the price (Rs 1,11,669 ex-showroom) of this new mid-variant is almost the same as the older top-end version.

    What's The Same?

This Bajaj Pulsar bike continues to be powered by the same 149.5cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 14PS and 13.4Nm. The chassis, suspension, brakes, wheels, seat height, ground clearance, kerb weight, single-channel ABS, and even features like the LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity remain the same.

    BikeDekho Says

The updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 is priced slightly higher than before, but the premium seems justified considering the addition of all-LED lighting and refreshed styling. Pulsar loyalists are known to love the bike for its familiarity, so it’ll be interesting to see how they react to these changes.

      A True All-Rounder in the 150cc Segment
I chose this bike because it feels smooth and stable on highways while still offering good control in the city, even though the suspension feels slightly stiff on rough roads. It gives good mileage, looks stylish and is comfortable enough for family rides, making it a practical and reliable choice. The ride so far has been very satisfying. It feels comfortable for daily use, gives good mileage and has strong pickup. Handling is stable and confident, especially on highways where it feels smooth and controlled even at higher speeds. Yes, I would recommend this bike. I bought it mainly for daily office travel and occasional weekend rides. It gives me decent mileage and the pickup is good enough for city traffic. On highways it feels stable and confident. The suspension is slightly stiff on rough roads but overall comfort is fine. If someone wants a practical, stylish and reliable bike in this budget, this is a good choice.

      bike is powerful
Common disadvantages of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 include vibrations, a lack of a sixth gear, weak suspension, older design, potential for poor quality parts/service, and less stability in sudden braking at high speeds, while some users note issues with back pain due to seating and headlight design not meeting modern expectations, though it offers good city performance and mileage for its price.
