Top 5 Best-Selling Two-Wheeler Brands In India: December 2025

Hero MotoCorp takes the cake, but the other brands are breathing down its neck!

The Indian two-wheeler market ended 2025 on a strong note, with December witnessing healthy sales across major manufacturers. Demand for commuter motorcycles and scooters continued to drive volumes, while festive spillover and year-end offers added extra momentum. Here’s a closer look at the top five best-selling brands in India for December 2025 and what worked in their favour.

1. Hero MotoCorp – 4,19,243 units

Hero MotoCorp retained its undisputed leadership position with over 4.19 lakh units sold. The brand’s dominance comes from its strong commuter portfolio, including the Splendor, HF Deluxe and Passion series. These motorcycles continue to be the backbone of rural and semi-urban mobility. Aggressive dealership reach, excellent fuel efficiency and affordable pricing helped Hero stay well ahead of the competition.

2. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India – 3,92,306 units

Honda secured second place with 3.92 lakh units. The company’s scooter range, especially the Activa, Dio and Shine 125, remains hugely popular among urban buyers. Consistent demand for reliable, family-friendly products has kept Honda firmly in the hunt. Attractive finance schemes and strong brand trust further boosted December numbers.

3. TVS Motor Company – 3,30,362 units

TVS grabbed the third spot with over 3.30 lakh units sold. A balanced portfolio of scooters like the Jupiter and Ntorq, along with motorcycles such as the Raider 125 and Apache series, has worked well for the brand. TVS has also benefited from strong export performance and a growing reputation for feature-packed products at competitive prices.

4. Bajaj Auto – 1,32,228 units

Bajaj Auto finished fourth with 1.32 lakh units. The brand’s sales are largely driven by the Pulsar range and the Platina commuter series. Bajaj’s focus on sporty motorcycles and the continued popularity of the Pulsar 125 and 150 helped it maintain steady volumes. Export challenges remain, but domestic demand kept the brand comfortably in the top five.

5. Suzuki Motorcycle India – 97,823 units

Rounding off the list is Suzuki with 97,823 units. The Access 125 continues to be the company’s star performer, contributing a major chunk of sales. Models like the Burgman Street and Avenis have also strengthened Suzuki’s scooter-heavy strategy. While smaller in volume compared to rivals, Suzuki has built a loyal customer base with reliable and premium-feeling products.
