Aprilia India has increased the pricing of its popular fully faired sportbike, the RS 457. Earlier, the brand absorbed the impact of GST 2.0, and kept the price as is, at Rs 4,35,000 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
However, currently, the Aprilia RS 457 is listed at Rs 4,50,723 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), on the official website, which is Rs 15,723 more expensive than before. That said, Aprilia is attempting to soften the impact of the price hike by offering additional schemes with the RS 457, valid until December 25, 2025. This includes Rs 15,000 absorption of the GST 2.0 hike, and also a free quickshifter, which costs Rs 20,500. Together, they amount to Rs 35,000.
If you’re planning to buy the Aprilia RS 457, now would be a good time. After Christmas, the bike will not only be more expensive, but customers will also not get the quickshifter for free. All said and done, it still remains one of the best options in its segment, offering strong performance, premium build quality, an engaging riding experience, and a solid list of features. It is the best choice for a budget super sport bike and looks aggressive with a lot of torque and power. The twin cylinder engine is very tractable and the overall ride experience is fun! Definitely a head turner. The bike is very smooth and the engine is very responsive. The posture is a bit demanding so would avoid in traffic jams and long rides.
