The most affordable and simple to ride commuter by TVS is the Sport. The TVS Sport has a lightweight feel, and paired with a refined and fuel efficient 109.7 cc engine it is a great choice for daily city commutes. The minimalist design language complements its function-over-form factor. TVS offers two variants of the Sport: Self Start (ES) & Self Start (ES Plus), and they are priced at Rs 59,100 and Rs 59,950 (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively. What’s Common Between The Variants
Both the variants are mechanically identical, powered by the same 109.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 8.19 PS and 8.7 Nm, and is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. It is quite a basic motorcycle and has an analogue speedometer, fuel gauge, and odometer. The headlight, taillight and the indicators are all halogen, but it does have DRLs and AHO (automatic headlight on) feature.
Both the variants have self-start as well as kick-start but miss out on tubeless tyres despite having alloy wheels. The suspension setup is bare bones, with telescopic fork and five step adjustable rear twin shocks. The braking duties are handled by a 130 mm front and 110 mm rear drum. At 175 mm, the ground clearance is very good and the bike feels featherlight with its kerb weight of just 112 kg.
The noteworthy aspect of the bike is its real world mileage, which regularly sees 70+ kmpl, and sometimes even crosses the 80 kmpl mark, which is really impressive, considering the fact that it runs on E20 petrol.
What’s Not Common Between The Variants
Well, the only differing factor between the Self Start (ES) & Self Start (ES Plus) is cosmetics. The ES is offered in four single tone colours: Straight Blue, All Black, All Red, and All Grey.
And the ES+ gets two colour options with a bit of graphics on both: Black Neon, and Grey Red.

The TVS Sport is a very affordable and highly fuel efficient work-horse/commuter bike. The difference between its ES and ES+ variants is limited to its cosmetics only. With just Rs 850 difference between the variants, there’s little to no room for complaints regarding the differentiating factor between the variants. So pick whichever colour or graphic option you want. We, however, do prefer the Grey Red colour of the ES+ variant because it stands out the most.

Smooth riding and suspension are very good. Seat is long sufficient. Attractive colour and mobile charging facility. Paint quality is excellent and front light seams good. Sport is very smooth and noiseless. It is comfortable to me and with my son easily to handle with traffics. TVS Sports is primarily used for applications requiring high power to weight ratios off-road racing dirt biking and motocross. due to their light weight and simple construction quick acceleration, there were formerly popular for commuter bikes and mopeds, Road side ride in TVS sport is very smoothly Highway it can be used with mileage 75kmpl it is Highway road and local panchayat road handle with nice bike is formerly popular for commuter bikes but today the are mostly restricted specialized, closed course competition or vintage riding due to high emissions. This is a family bike and its mileage is also very good. It gave me the highest mileage of 68, so I choose this bike. I have driven it for more than 26000 kms, till now but the seating position is best and handling is also very good and the engine does not even hit the engine. It totally depends on you, If you want a mileage bike go for tvs sports, but someone who wants high speed, and stability they should stay away from it. It can get highly vibrating at high speed. Also comfort not good for this bike, for long ride, you can experience back pain. I have gone through various roads, I live in Mumbai, I have even gone to Puna from my bike, with my friends, with full petrol, still got petrol left when I reached prayagraj. The bike is very good, the best positive is its mileage and low maintenance, I can easily able to get a mileage of 50 kmpl after 9 years of usage. The main negative of the bike is that it start to vibrate when I take it to very high speed, and the seat is uncomfortable for long journey. It totally depends on you, If you want a mileage bike go for tvs sports, but someone who wants high speed, and stability they should stay away from it. It can get highly vibrating at high speed.
