BREAKING: More Affordable Single-Seat Variant Of The Bajaj Pulsar N160 SS Coming Soon?

Bajaj Auto recently launched the updated Pulsar N160 S and N160 SS in India, giving its popular 160cc motorcycle some major upgrades. Now, in a recent product briefing the brand has also disclosed that they could launch a more affordable single-seat variant of the N160 SS.

Currently the Bajaj Pulsar N160 S is priced at Rs 1,33,511, while the N160 SS costs Rs 1,42,585 (both prices, ex-showroom). This means there is a price difference of Rs 9,074 between the two variants. The upcoming single-seat version is expected to sit between the two variants in terms of pricing. This would make the feature-packed SS version more accessible to a wider range of buyers while also making it more practical for everyday use.

To keep the price in check, Bajaj could equip the single-seat variant with a simpler LCD instrument console instead of the new 5-inch TFT unit offered on the N160 SS. This could be one of the major differences between the two versions. Apart from the console, the rest of the package is expected to remain largely unchanged. If the brand launches the single-seat variant, then it is expected to be around Rs 4,000 more affordable than the current N160 SS.
