Bajaj Dominar 400 Tera Unveiled Overseas
This Dominar looks adventure-ready, and is slightly different from the India-spec bike
Bajaj has launched Dominar 400 Tera in Colombia at COP 20.39 lakh (equivalent to Rs 5.52 lakh). It gets a new colour, revised graphics, different features, and knobby tyres. Here's all you need to know about the bike.
How’s It Different From the Indian Dominar 400?
Design
The Dominar 400 Tera gets a new brown colour option, while the Indian Dominar 400 is available in black and green. It also features fresh new graphics, 3D Dominar logos on the fuel tank, and a 400 decal below it. Another key difference is that the Tera gets block-pattern tyres, while the Indian bike gets standard road-biased tyres.
Engine
The Colombian-spec bike has a 373cc engine, unlike the 350cc one on the India-spec bike. It produces 40PS and 35Nm, which is 0.6PS less and 1.8Nm more than the Indian variant.
Features
Feature-wise, the Colombian bike gets the older LCD console with a speedometer and a tachometer, all-LED lighting, a gear position indicator, and dual-channel ABS. However, the Indian Dominar 400 gets additional features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes, and traction control.

The Dominar 400 Tera gets rugged looks with useful accessories as standard from the factory. While it cannot replace a typical adventure bike, it could appeal to riders looking for a more rugged-looking Dominar. If launched in India, it could give the Dominar lineup a much-needed refresh. However, Bajaj has not confirmed any plans to bring it to India.

Bike have good road presence and led headlight give it a beast look. Bike is amazing when ride on highways. Maintenance cost is little higher as of poor service centre as they randomly guess about the fault. I went to them 7-8 time for coolant leak issue but they failed to repair it but every time they deliver me the bike confidently saying they have repaired it, enjoy the ride. If you looking for highway, daily commuting or for long ride of upto 300-500 km in a day, you can buy this bike at this price range under 2.5 lakh but only if u have any local mechanic who can service this bike and parts available.Read More2 4
