That’s not all, the newly launched variant is also more powerful and feature-packed

    • The TVS NTorq 125 Race XP is the most powerful scooter in the 125cc segment.
    • It comes with a ‘voice assist’ function to use different features in the connected console.
    • Costs Rs 4,900 more than the Race Edition.

TVS has made the already feature-packed and iconic NTorq 125 even better with the launch of the new TVS NTorq 125 Race XP variant. Priced at Rs 83,275 (ex-showroom Delhi), this variant is Rs 4,900 more expensive than the NTorq 125 Race Edition.

For such a small premium, TVS has equipped the scooter with a whole list of features. The most remarkable one is the tuned engine with more power, torque, and more importantly, segment-first riding modes. Take a look at the specifications:

    124.8cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine specifications

    TVS NTorq 125

    Difference

    Peak Power

    10.2PS at 7,000rpm

    9.38PS at 7,000rpm

    0.82PS

    Maximum Torque

    10.8 Nm at 5,500rpm

    10.5Nm at 5,500rpm

    0.3Nm

In addition to the extra power and torque, TVS has equipped the scooter with two riding modes: Race and Street. The Hosur-based brand says it can achieve a claimed top speed of 98kmph and is capable of offering better acceleration in Race mode and better mileage in Street mode, making it ideal for city commute on traffic-ridden roads.

Another interesting addition is the ‘Voice Assist’ feature which works in conjunction with the smartphone-compatible instrument cluster. Using this, the rider can issue up to 15 different voice commands on the app to access functions such as opening navigation, changing modes, adjusting console brightness, and activating DnD (Do not Disturb) feature. That said, you’ll need a Bluetooth listening device (just like the one on the Honda H’Ness CB350) to use this functionality. The user interface has also been refreshed and a new ‘Save Address’ function has been added for improved convenience while navigating to frequently visited places.

Other features such as the all-LED headlamp, front disc brake, telescopic front fork, rear shock absorber, and drum brake are all the same as the Race Edition. Oh, and the new variant also gets a cool new colour scheme for distinction from the Race Edition. Overall, the new TVS NTorq 125 Race XP makes a lot of sense over its arch-nemesis, the Honda Grazia 125 Sports Edition, which retails at Rs 85,148. That said, the Grazia doesn’t even get connectivity, let alone multiple riding modes. The new NTorq variant also goes up against the upcoming Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid.

      Awesome to ride
Purchased the scooty in feb 2026 and so far have driven nearly 3500 kms. The scooty is awesome to ride, easy to handle, and easy to maintain. One can expect mileage of 40-41 kmpl in city. Seat and suspension is on a stiffer side but one can get aftermarket foam seats to make the rides comfortable. Awesome ride for daily commute.

Good in everything like from performance to mileage, like giving me around 45 to 50 kmpl mileage in city + highway and in city the performance was great, In highway it feels mini rocket and have great thrash. It’s braking bites are also too excellent and the throw of headlights is also the best I have ever seen.
