BREAKING: TVS Jupiter 110 With OBD-2B Compliance Launched

TVS Motor Company has launched the updated Jupiter 110, starting at Rs 76,691 (ex-showroom), which is a premium of Rs 2,000. The TVS Jupiter 110 is now powered by an updated 113.3cc engine, complying with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. However, the power and torque output remains unchanged at 8.02PS and 9.2Nm (9.8Nm with electric assist). TVS plans to make all its bikes and scooters OBD-2B compliant before the end of March 2025.
What does the OBD-2B compliance mean?
Transition to an OBD-2B compliant engine includes improved sensors and onboard monitoring systems. The system collects real-time data on throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel level, and speed. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) analyses this data to ensure there are no discrepancies in real-time emissions. This makes the vehicle more eco-friendly and also fuel-efficient.

The TVS Jupiter 110 gets the same family scooter-like design but with a touch of modern and futuristic elements. It comes equipped with a colour-LCD instrument console which gets smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation and call & SMS alerts.
The Jupiter 110 is also compatible with the TVS SmartXonnect mobile application that offers voice assist and “Find me” features. It is equipped with an all-LED lighting setup with integrated turn indicators along with a “Follow me” headlamp.
