All Stars Black Mirror

The All Stars Black Mirror colour already existed in 42 Bobber lineup but as just Black Mirror. The colour scheme hasn’t been changed, and it still stands out as the boldest-looking shade. The chrome finish on the tank gives it a premium appeal, which blends perfectly with the blacked-out engine casing, alloy wheels and exhaust setup.

All Stars Shadow Black

The bike gets a dark look with a black chassis, engine and seat and a dark grey-coloured fuel tank and side panels. It gets Jawa 42 branding on the tank with black tank pads and an ‘All Stars’ logo on side panels. Overall the bike looks understated and intimidating.

All Stars Silver Knight

The 42 Bobber in Silver Knight colour gets silver-coloured bodywork with JAWA and J42 graphics on the tank. The contrasting blue-coloured checkered graphic on the tank, the All Stars logo on side panels and highlights on the front and rear mudguards make this one stand out from other colours. It draws its inspiration from a chessboard.

All Stars Jasper Red

All Stars Jasper Red colourway existed as Jasper Red in the 42 Bobber lineup and now sees no change. This colour scheme makes the bike look energetic and grabs attention through its deep red and white tank. Earlier this colour scheme had chromed out engine casing but All Stars Jasper Red gets sportier-looking  blacked-out engine casing.

All Stars Mystic Copper

All Stars Mystic Copper is probably the most premium-looking colour option continuing on the All Stars 42 Bobber lineup. Similar to Jasper Red, Mystic Copper also had a chrome engine casing which has been painted black now. That said, the paint scheme gives the bikes a distinct retro charm.

BikeDekho Says

Jawa in 'Strike One' gave the All Stars treatment to the 42 FJ, and now, 'Strike Two' extends the same identity to the 42 Bobber. The new colour option gives buyers fresh choices which cater to the choice of every kind of rider.

Mechanically, the bike remains the same with a 334cc liquid-cooled engine that makes 29.9 PS and 30.01 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The new All Star 42 Bobber goes up against the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 and Jawa Perak.

My riding experience

The biggest reason is its appearance. The floating single seat, wide rear tyre and minimalist design made it stand out. I loved the custom bike look straight from the factory. That made me choose this bike. As a solo rider, I find the seat comfortable for daily commute and short to medium highway trips although the suspension is a bit firm on rough roads. As for mileage, it is around 25 to 30 kmpl in normal riding. A solo rider would love this bike for various purposes such as everyday use or short commute or even long road trips in various terrain. The fuel to kilometre capacity is not a problem for me. Considering the current petrol crisis in India, this bike is quite manageable. Read More

The guy who loves solo traveling

My friend had this bike first so I tried it for few long trips and I fell in love with the performance and smoothness of this beauty. Its fuel cost is more but manageable. I usually prefer performance. Looks are also good. For comfort, its good but its better for solo travelling. I travel solo pretty often, so its a best choice for me. It performs well in hilly area which was truly unexpected for me. Sometimes, its just the heat problem, my leg got burned while riding, so better be careful about it. Well, if you prefer solo travelling or like normal travel then go for it. Its better for people who can handle heavier bikes and have experience. If you can manage the fuel costs in today's economy then go for it. Read More
