BREAKING: Jawa 42 FJ New Colours Launched In India

Jawa has launched six new colours for the 42 FJ in India, with prices now starting at Rs 2,01,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The base colour option is now Rs 6,992 more expensive, while the top colour option costs Rs 10,992 more than the previous version. Each colour gives the bike a unique look, while mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. Here’s a closer look :

All Stars Red 

This new colour scheme is one of the most eye-catching options in the lineup. It gets a striking-looking red and silver dual tone. The fuel tank, headlight cover, and side panels are finished in a bright red shade, while the front fender, rear fender, and tank get a premium-looking matte silver shade. Other than this, the rest of the bike gets an all-black finish, maintaining the slightly sporty vibe of this roadster. The combination gives the 42 FJ a sporty look while keeping its retro character.

All Stars Nebula Blue 

The Nebula Blue is also a dual-tone paint scheme that gives the bike a mature and understated look. Here, the fuel tank, headlight cover, and side panels are finished in a dark blue shade, while the fuel tank also gets silver detailing on the side. This shade also gets blacked-out mechanical components. Overall, this dark blue shade gives the motorcycle a premium look without being too flashy.

All Stars Chrome 

This is by far the most classy-looking paint scheme available for the 42 FJ.  There is a premium-looking chrome finish on the tank along with Jawa branding on the sides. The rest of the motorcycle is finished in all-black. This combination gives the 42 FJ an overall clean, old-school look and suits its retro roadster styling.

Aurora Green

This colour scheme features an olive green base paint along with silver detailing on the sides of the tank. The dark green paint goes well with the blacked-out engine, exhaust, and frame, giving the motorcycle a rugged military-inspired look. This shade will surely be preferred by military personnel.  

Deep Matte Black Red 

This colour is for someone looking for something more sporty. It features an all-matte black paint scheme with a bright red section on the fuel tank. The large ‘42’ graphics on the sides also add to the overall sporty look, while the blacked-out components give the motorcycle a slightly more aggressive appearance.

Deep Matte Black 

This shade is the stealthiest of the lot. It gets an all-black treatment across the fuel tank and side panels, along with the engine, exhaust, and other mechanical parts. It is perfect for someone who prefers a more subtle look and does not want the bike to attract too much attention.

Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged, with a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 29.1 PS and 29.6 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets a telescopic fork setup along with twin rear shock absorbers, and rides on 17-inch wheels with disc brakes at both ends.

With these new colour options, the Jawa 42 FJ gives buyers plenty of fresh choices, with each colour giving the bike a different personality. All of these new shades do look quite good; however, with this amount of a price hike, some additional features were also expected. Its main competitors are the Triumph Speed T4, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
