Hero has silently launched the OBD2B compliant version of its sporty 110cc scooter, the Xoom 110 at Rs 78,067 (ex-showroom). Except for the updated emission norms compliance, it remains unchanged. With this update, the base Xoom 110 LX variant has been discontinued.

Price

Pricing for the new Hero Xoom 110 OBD2B range starts at Rs 78,067 for the VX variant, the ZX is at Rs 83,417 and the top-spec Combat edition sits at Rs 84,017 (all prices ex-showroom). Check out the premium over the older scooter variants in the table below: 

Design

Hero hasn't made any changes to the design of the Xoom 110, it still gets the sporty styling. The VX variant is available in Pearl Silver White, Polestar Blue, and Black. The ZX gets more options including Sport Red, Polestar Blue, Matt Abrax Orange, and Black, while the Combat edition comes only in Matt Shadow Grey.

Engine

This Hero Xoom scooter is powered a 110.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 8.15PS at 7,250rpm and 8.70Nm at 5,750 rpm. The engine is paired to an automatic gearbox and also comes with Hero’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology to improve mileage by shutting off the engine when it idles in traffic for a while. The motor starts again with just the twist of the throttle.

Underpinnings

The scooter continues with a telescopic fork and a rear shock absorber. Braking options vary by variant: the ZX gets a 190mm front disc brake, while the VX comes with a 130mm front drum. All variants use a 130mm rear drum brake. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with a 90-section front and 100-section rear tyre.

Features

The Xoom gets full LED lighting, a USB charger, a boot light, and an LCD console (Blue backlight for ZX & Combat, Amber for VX). Corner bending lights (apron-mounted lights at the lower portion turn on depending on which side the scooter leans) and Bluetooth connectivity are only available with the ZX and Combat.

The Hero Xoom 110 is the only other option in the 110cc sporty scooter segment apart from the popular Honda Dio 110. Other rivals in the 110cc scooter segment as a whole include the very popular and highest selling models: the Honda Activa 110 and TVS Jupiter 110. The Xoom has an edge over the others due to its pricing, aggressive styling, riding dynamics, suspension setup, and mileage. Where it lacks is quality, refinement, fit and finish.

Hero may have discontinued the LX variant as it may not have contributed to the Xoom’s overall sales as much. For perspective, only 1,029 Xoom scooters were sold in May 2025 as compared to 3,643 in April 2025. The sales figures are combined for both the 110 and 125cc version of the scooter.
