Design & Ergonomics
This new variant keeps the same overall design as the standard Bajaj Pulsar N160 but replaces the split-seat setup with a single-piece unit. This is aimed to make the bike a bit more comfortable and roomier for the pillion. The bike also swaps the split rear grab rails for a single-piece unit.

Underpinnings
The new bike gets the same 37mm telescopic fork and monoshock, but now gets dual-channel ABS - compared to the entry-level version. It has a 300mm front disc, but now gets a 280mm rear disc compared to the 230mm one on the base-spec. The 17-inch alloy wheels come with tubeless tyres: a 100-section front and a 130-section rear. It has 165mm ground clearance, 795mm seat height, a 14-litre fuel tank, and 154kg kerb weight.

Engine
This Bajaj Pulsar bike continues with the 164.82cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It makes the same 16PS at 8,750rpm, 14.65Nm at 6,750rpm, and is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
Technology & Features
The LCD instrument console includes Bluetooth connectivity with call, message, low fuel alerts; and a USB charging port. This one doesn’t get ABS modes or turn-by-turn navigation unlike the top-spec inverted fork variant.

Rivals
In the 160cc sporty commuter segment, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 competes with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Suzuki Gixxer 155, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4, and its own sibling - the Pulsar NS160.
BikeDekho Says
The single-seat variant of the N160 was launched in January 2025, and now Bajaj has made it even more value-for-money with the dual-channel ABS-equipped version. With this variant, Bajaj wants to ensure the lower variant of the N160 is not a compromise where it matters - safety. It’s also interesting to note that this launch comes shortly after the launch of the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V with dual-channel ABS.
