(Update: Bajaj has launched the Pulsar N125 and here's everything you need to know about it.)
Bajaj has dropped a teaser for the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N125, giving us a good look at what the bike has to offer. So far, we have seen a lot of spy shots of the Pulsar N125 being tested, but with the camouflage on, it was hard to make out a few important bits, now with the teaser we have a clearer picture.
The teaser has given us a glimpse of the bike including, the fuel tank, fender, the seat and the engine. We now also know that the bike will be offered in a purple paint scheme, which is a beautiful finish that we don’t get to see often. Earlier spy shots of the bike have revealed that the Bajaj Pulsar N125 gets the same aggressive design and styling that we have come to associate with the Pulsar brand.
The bike gets a sculpted tank, with aggressive looking tank extensions, a sporty split seat setup and an underbelly exhaust. Overall, styling and design wise Bajaj has done quite a good job with this one and given it a proper sporty look.
We expect the bike to be powered by an updated 125cc engine, likely based on the one we have seen on the Bajaj Pulsar 125. The Pulsar 125 is powered by a 124.4cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which puts out 11.8PS and 10.8Nm.
Coming to the underpinnings, the N125 gets a telescopic fork and monoshock. The bike features 17-inch alloys, with a braking setup that consists of a disc at the front and drum at the rear. We expect the bike to offer single-channel ABS, which some of its competitors already do.
Recently, Bajaj had updated its entire Pulsar lineup with digital instrument consoles that offer Bluetooth connectivity and related features. For the Pulsar N125, we can expect the same but without features such as turn-by-turn navigation.
The Pulsar N125 will go up against other sporty 125cc commuters in the market such as the TVS Raider 125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R. The upcoming Pulsar will be launched tomorrow i.e October 17, 2024 and could come at an ex-showroom price that is around the Rs 1 lakh mark.
