Bajaj Auto is going  to introduce its brand new face lifted variant of Pulsar in India in the coming year. Presently, Bajaj Auto is touching new heights of success in the domestic market because of its model Discover. According to Rajiv Bajaj, the launch of Discover 150cc bike in India will increase and strengthen the prosperity of the brand.

Bajaj Auto had sold its Pulsar 135cc in the Indonesia market through KTM outlets. Early last year, Bajaj auto Indonesia had reported losses and it is probably to break even by the year 2012. Bajaj Auto is also planning to sell its Pulsar 135cc model in the European markets. The company is promising to market these models with the help and coordination of KTM dealerships all over Europe. Bajaj Auto has got substantial stake in the Austrian firm and has started the super luxury bikes from KTM in India.

For capturing the number one position in the Indian market Bajaj Auto hopes to exceed the sales of  Hero Honda. Mr. S Sridhar, president (motorcycles), Bajaj Auto was quoted saying that from the ninth position in the first quarter of 2009-10, Discover has climbed to the third position in the first quarter of 2010-11. This is a huge boost for the company. Going ahead, the company’s focus will be on the two brands — Pulsar and Discove, added the Sridhar.

reliable daily commuter with great mileage

Needed something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done.

Value for money

Best in class performances, easy handling in city traffic, smooth, but rugged at same time, easy on pocket for maintenance, definitely serves the purpose, pickup is perfect, been riding this one since 15 years, yet minimum service cost, after sales response is also impressive, definitely male, title claimed by company feels true when you ride one.

A True All-Rounder in the 150cc Segment

I chose this bike because it feels smooth and stable on highways while still offering good control in the city, even though the suspension feels slightly stiff on rough roads. It gives good mileage, looks stylish and is comfortable enough for family rides, making it a practical and reliable choice. The ride so far has been very satisfying. It feels comfortable for daily use, gives good mileage and has strong pickup. Handling is stable and confident, especially on highways where it feels smooth and controlled even at higher speeds. Yes, I would recommend this bike. I bought it mainly for daily office travel and occasional weekend rides. It gives me decent mileage and the pickup is good enough for city traffic. On highways it feels stable and confident. The suspension is slightly stiff on rough roads but overall comfort is fine. If someone wants a practical, stylish and reliable bike in this budget, this is a good choice.
