Aprilia India has started unofficial bookings for the Tuono 457 in select cities through authorised dealerships for a pre-booking amount of Rs 10,000. The Tuono 457 is expected to be launched at the end of January 2025.
The Tuono 457 is the naked version of the Aprilia RS-457 that was launched in December 2023 at India Bike Week.

The Tuono 457 has been highly anticipated in India, as it will offer similar performance to the RS 457, but with a much more comfortable riding position thanks to a taller single-piece handlebar. This should definitely help the Tuono 457 appeal to a much larger audience. The Tuono 457 was expected to have the same half-faired design from its bigger siblings but actually features a bikini fairing with sharp LED DRLs inspired from the bigger Aprilias.
The Tuono 457 will be powered by the same 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 48PS and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. It will get a smaller fuel tank and also gets different gearing as compared to the RS 457 to make it more fun to ride in the city. The quickshifter may be offered as an accessory.

The Tuono 457 gets the same 41mm inverted fork and monoshock suspension setup that is preload adjustable. The bike will also get the same 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres with 320mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper and 220mm rear disc brakes with dual channel and switchable ABS.
The Tuono will get the same electronic-aids as that of the RS 457 featuring three riding modes and 3 levels of traction control. It will also get the same colour TFT screen from the RS 457 and the same switchgear as well.

The Tuono 457 is expected to be launched in India by the end of January 2025 with deliveries to begin in February 2025.The Aprilia Tuono 457 will rival the KTM 390 Duke and the Yamaha MT-03 and is expected to be priced at Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
