Aprilia RS 457 Latest Update

Aprilia has unveiled the all-new RS 457. Check out the details of the bike here. And it has now been unveiled in India also. 

It is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine producing 48PS and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with quickshifter. It has a Twin-spar aluminium frame and steel swingarm with an underbelly exhaust. Suspension duties are taken care of by a 41mm upside-down (USD) fork (120mm wheel travel) and monoshock (130mm wheel travel) suspension setup with preload adjustability for both. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm front disc with a 4-piston radial caliper and 220mm rear disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS.

It runs on 110/70 (front) and 150/60 (rear) TVS Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tyres with 17-inch wheels. Kerb weight of the bike is 175kg. Features-wise, it gets a ride-by-wire system, three levels of traction control that can be turned off, quickshifter as an accessory and a 5-inch TFT instrument console. Its rivals are the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Keeway K300 R and BMW G 310 RR.
