Honda has launched the updated 2025 XL750 Transalp in India at a price of Rs 10,99,990 (ex-showroom). The Transalp is an off-road, adventure, and touring motorcycle with both on-road and off-road capability. The bookings have also now commenced across Honda’s BigWing dealerships all over India, and deliveries are scheduled to begin sometime in July 2025.
Design
The 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp comes with updated styling, a new windscreen, a refreshed headlight design with twin LED clusters, and two colour options: Ross White and Graphite Black. The wire spoke wheels on both ends continue to be finished in a golden colour. All in all, the 2025 model looks a bit more aggressive than before.
Engine
The Transalp is powered by a 755cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 91.77PS at 9,500rpm and 75Nm at 7,250rpm. It comes with a ride-by-wire throttle, along with a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. This setup is shared with the recently launched CB750 Hornet, but tuned differently in the Transalp. For 2025, Honda has tweaked the engine tuning for better low-end grunt, and mid-range drive as well.
Underpinnings
The Honda XL750 Transalp rides on a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel, both wire-spoke and still using tubed type tyres. It gets a Showa 43mm inverted fork, and a rear link type monoshock suspension setup. The suspension setup has also been tuned for better off-road performance in the 2025 version. The braking setup includes dual 310mm front discs and a 256mm rear, paired with dual-channel ABS.
Features
The bike gets a 5.0-inch colour TFT console with smartphone connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app. Turn-by-turn navigation, music, calls, and SMS alerts (all new for 2025) are also part of the package. It gets backlit switchgear and automatic turn signal cancellation as well. It has five riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User. It gets switchable traction control too, which the brand calls ‘Honda Selectable Torque Control’ (HSTC).

Kudos to Honda for keeping the pricing competitive and exactly the same as the outgoing version of the bike. The 650-900cc “middleweight” (not really) adventure touring category is a growing segment not only in India, but all over the world. The XL750 Transalp takes on rivals like the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, BMW F 900 GS, and the Triumph Tiger 900.

pros: i found my bike very more comfortable while riding both on highway and off roads. definitely better than any other bikes in this segment cons: since i used a pulsar 220 before, i can't find any cons. this is really a big jump from a 220 to a translap. only thing is service. only very few technicians can handle such a bike and service centres in my area can only service lower cc bike and for that i had to travel like 150km.Read More

I have been riding for 10 months almost. Pros: light weight, excellent engine. Cons: no tubeless, maintenance is kind of high now as HONDA has increased the service cost which is almost equal to BMW now. May be we save some money in spareparts. Rest all on the higher side.Read More
