The bike now gets an OBD-2B compliant engine
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the updated Shine 100. The bike is now priced at Rs 68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it Rs 1,867 more expensive than before. It is available in a single variant and is offered in five colour schemes: Black with Red, Black with Blue, Black with Orange, Black with Gray, and Black with Green. While the colour schemes have remained same, the updated Honda Shine 100 now gets refreshed graphics on its body panels.

The 2025 Honda Shine 100 is powered by the same 98.98cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 7.38PS and 8.05Nm (same as before) but is OBD-2B compliant now to meet with the latest emission norms. It is paired to a 4-speed gearbox.
The updated bike gets the same telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers as before and rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubed tyres. For the braking setup, the bike gets 130mm front and 110mm rear drum brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System). The Shine 100 gets an accessible seat height of 786mm, ground clearance of 168mm and weighs just 99kg (kerb).

On the features front, the bike gets an analogue instrument console giving regular readouts including a speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge. The bike also gets a side-stand engine cut-off feature for increased safety. The Honda Shine 100 rivals bikes like the Hero HF100, Hero Splendor, and the Bajaj Platina 100.
The Honda Shine 100 has always been a practical and affordable bike to run and maintain. With the OBD-2B update, the bike is now compliant with the latest emission norms and has now become more environment friendly. Plus, the refreshed colour schemes should increase its appeal among potential buyers. Also, after the OBD-2B update and the new colour schemes, the bike has remained quite affordable with the prices of the country's highest-selling bike, the Splendor Plus, starting at Rs 77,176 (ex-showroom).
