2025 Bajaj Platina 110: Variant Differences Explained
The newly launched Platina 110 NXT variant is more stylish and eco-friendly than the base Platina 110

Bajaj Auto has launched the new variant of the Platina 110 – the Bajaj Platina 110 NXT in India. The bike is priced at Rs 74,214 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is offered in a combination of Red-Black, Silver-Black, and Yellow-Black colour schemes as per our dealer sources. We list the differences between this new variant and the standard one:
Price
The Bajaj Platina 110 NXT is priced at Rs 74,214, which is Rs 2,656 more than the base variant of the Platina 110, priced at Rs 71,558 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

Design & Colour Schemes
While the bikes are fundamentally similar, the new bike does feature some design changes for a more stylish look. The Platina 110 NXT gets a chrome bezel around the headlight, refreshed graphics on the body panels and on the headlight cowl. The variant also gets blacked out alloys with rim decals for a slightly sporty look.
While the base variant also comes equipped with black coloured alloys, it gets different rim stickers, and its colour schemes are more subtle, and may be preferred by a more mature buyer. Additionally, the base variant also gets knuckle guards for protection.

The 2025 Bajaj Platina 110 NXT has flashier-looking colour schemes than the base variant. As per our dealer sources, the Platina 110 NXT is offered in a combination of Red-Black, Silver-Black, and Yellow-Black colour schemes. In comparison, the standard variant is offered in Ebony Black Blue, Ebony Black Red - both are relatively more subtle. The Cocktail Wine Red-orange, on the other hand, looks a lot funkier than the other two colour schemes.
Engine
The Platina 110 NXT gets an updated engine that is now OBD-2B compliant to meet the latest emission norms. The new bike’s electronic carburetor has now been replaced with a FI (Fuel Injection) system now, and it is expected that the base variant will also get this update soon. Both the bikes share the same 115.45cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine, producing 8.5PS and 9.81Nm that is paired to a 4-speed gearbox.

Features
The new Platina 110 NXT shares its instrument console with the Platina 110’s standard variant with an analogue speedometer and an analogue fuel gauge, along with the tell-tale lights. However, the new variant gets a USB charging port located just above the console for added convenience. As far as the lighting setup is concerned, both variants share the same halogen headlight (with LED DRL), tail light and indicators. Also, compared to the base variant, the NXT gets a different cushioning for added comfort.
Underpinnings
Both the bikes share the same underpinnings with 17-inch blacked-out alloy wheels, telescopic fork and gas-charged 5-step preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. Both of them still get the 130mm front and 110mm rear drum brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System).
Both the bikes weigh 122kg (kerb) and come with a seat height of 807mm. The tall seat is because the bike has a massive 200mm ground clearance. The slightly long-travel suspension, generous ground clearance make the Platina an ideal commuter bike to tackle bad roads effectively.

- Confidently Choosing Platina for Fuel EfficiencyI was looking around for a bike to get me around town. It needed to sip fuel without guzzling too much, handle those bumpy streets full of potholes okay, and not be a hassle to keep up with. The Platina sort of nailed it on the ride being smooth, steering light enough, and getting decent miles per tank. I took it out for a couple test spins, checked over the service stuff, and yeah, I went ahead and picked it up feeling pretty sure about the choice. My Platina does feel safe on a modified road, I find the seating position to be comfortable and the bike easy to manage. The acceleration is modest, but sufficient for a commute to work, and the pillion seat is fair for short journeys. The mileage is excellent and after-sale support has been responsive and helpful. For someone who works an office job and runs errands, the Platina is an easy, no fuss option. Buyers who want a bike suited for sports activities, long travel tours, or other high speed activities will have to look for other options.Read More1
