After launching the revolutionary YZF-25 in the many Asian markets, Yamaha has revealed more exciting YZF-R3 for Europe. The bike will be exhibited at the 72nd EICMA motorcycle show and will be launched in selected European countries along with the US by the early 2015.

The 2015 Yamaha YZF-R3 shares the designing with its younger sibling- R25, however, gets a bigger 321cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC 8V, parallel-twin motor. The new engine gets R-series technology, which features forged pistons, low-friction cylinders, carburized con rods, direct-drive camshaft and much more. Powered by electronic fuel injection, it churns out 41.4bhp of maximum power at 10,750rpm along with a peak torque of 29.6Nm at 9,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox for smooth transmission and has only electric starting system.
Bolted on a light weight Diamond frame, the new Yamaha R3 weighs only 166.9 kg, which gives it excellent power to weight ratio compared to many other bikes in the respective segment. It comes with a full body fairing with racing graphics, split headlights, large wind shield and 3 amazing colour options- Team Yamaha Blue/Matte Silver, Raven (Black) and Rapid Red . The sleek rear profile and the sporty short muffler gel well with the overall styling. The bike gets all the supersport features like- clip-ons, split seat, rear shifted foot pegs, dual disc brakes with ABS and light weight alloys with wide 110/70 and 140/70 section front and rear tyres respectively.
The new Yamaha R3 will compete with other faired machines in the respective category like- Honda CBR300R and Kawasaki Ninja 300.

Good performance, still engine in good condition, you can feel a thrill at 130 km/hour top speed. and many more hidden features.

Awsm experience. I drive both versions before but this version is extremely awesome. Braking was so powerful on high speed.

All over bike is good but at comfort level, Yamaha needs to modify on this. The over-performance styling and riding experience is too good.
