The Chennai based two-wheeler manufacturer- TVS Motor has launched 2015 Phoenix 125 with maximum style, features and performance. The bike will be available in two trims- Drum and Disc, priced at Rs. 51,990 and Rs. 55,899 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. It has received some major cosmetic changes along with some feature upgrades.
New style features of the 2015 TVS Phoenix includes sporty tank scoops, premium metallic 3D logos, body coloured pillion grab rail, twin LED pilot lamps and exciting graphics. It is available in six colour options including a dual tone scheme- White Night. Other colour options are Crimson Black, Black Magic, Red Hot, Midnight Black and Cherry White.
The new TVS Phoenix features vehicle locator key, fully digital console, tubeless tyres, hazard lamps, compound padded seat with contrast stitching, DC headlamp and many more. The bike runs on 17-inch alloys, and it comes with telescopic front forks and 5-step adjustable, gas charged rear suspensions with series spring. Both the front and rear wheels are equipped with 130mm drum brakes in the standard variant, while the Disc version gets a 240mm Roto Petal disc brake at the front.
Propelling the TVS Phoenix is a 124.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, Ecothrust engine, which comes mated to a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox via a wet multi-plate clutch assembly. Using a carburetor type fuel supply system, it makes upto 10.8bhp of power at 8,000rpm and delivers torque upto 10.8Nm at 5,500rpm. It claims to return a fuel efficiency upto 67kmpl and competes with the motorcycles like Hero Glamour, Honda Shine, Bajaj Discover 125 M and Yamaha SS 125.

It's a superb bike, but the only issue is the availability and cost of spare parts. Overall, the performance is good and comfortable. Liked it.
For 125cc engine, overall pickup and mileage, both are good. Gear transmission pattern should have been 1 down 3 up instead of all up because traffic conditions require such a pattern. I have ridden 50,000 Km since Aug 2015 and the front sprocket shaft is damaged. I need to replace it with getting the engine down. Back shock absorbers not working now.Read More

Tvs makes a loose impression from Bikers, Their is a huge list of failure models and very less quality service availability. Any manufacturer hits its own products by sales, service and fully consumer focused organisation, So here is no chance to attract the consumers with new product launches but you need to read consumers minds and their quires. TVS Phoenix is a good one- but-- but above points makes phoenix unsuccessful again in future and then TVS new Models arises ,arises, arises.. What a shit...!!!Read More
