Overview
The Komaki MG Pro is the brand's latest electric scooter in India. It is available in two variants: the MG Pro V, priced at Rs 73,999 (ex-showroom) with a 2.2 kWh battery, and the MG Pro+, priced at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom) with a larger 2.7 kWh battery.
Design
The Komaki MG Pro gets metal body panels, and is available in four colour options: Black, Frost White, Garnet Red, and Metal Grey. It has a sharp, well-proportioned design with neatly integrated turn indicators, while all-LED lighting adds a modern touch.
Features
The Komaki MG Pro gets a fully digital instrument console that displays the speedometer, odometer, battery voltage, and battery level. It also supports smartphone connectivity for battery health and range monitoring. Other convenience features include keyless start, an anti-theft lock, park assist, ample floorboard space, and underseat storage for everyday practicality.
Motor, Battery and Performance
Both variants of the Komaki MG Pro are powered by a Brushless DC (BLDC) hub motor, although the brand has not revealed the power output. The MG Pro V gets a 2.2 kWh battery with a claimed range of 90-100 km, while the MG Pro+ features a larger 2.7 kWh battery that claims over 150 km on a single charge. Both scooters have a claimed top speed of 60 kmph and require around four hours for a full charge.
Komaki also offers a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty (whichever comes first) on the battery and motor-controller unit.
Chassis, Suspension, and Brakes
The Komaki MG Pro rolls on a 12-inch front and a 10-inch rear wheel. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers, while braking is managed by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
