Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP

The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is the Japanese manufacturer’s flagship litre-class superbike, which was relaunched in India on June 12, 2026. Inspired by Honda’s MotoGP machines, the Fireblade SP combines aggressive styling, cutting-edge electronics and track-focused performance.

The Fireblade SP features sharp aerodynamic bodywork with integrated winglets, a compact tail section and a forward-biased stance designed to maximise performance on both road and track. It is available in a single colour option in India, called the Grand Prix Red paint scheme, that further highlights this bike's race-bred character.

The superbike comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument console, ride-by-wire throttle, multiple riding modes, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, launch control, cruise control and cornering dual channel ABS. It also gets premium Öhlins Smart Electronic Suspension, Brembo Stylema R calipers, and a bidirectional quickshifter as standard.

Rider Comfort

The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP offers a committed supersport riding position with low clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs. While the ergonomics are optimised for aggressive riding and track use, they may feel demanding during long rides.

Pillion Comfort

Pillion comfort is limited due to the compact rear seat and performance-focused design. The motorcycle is primarily intended for solo riding enthusiasts.

The Fireblade SP is powered by a 1000cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 217PS and 113Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bidirectional quickshifter.

City And Highway Performance

While the Fireblade SP can be ridden in urban environments, its true strengths lie on open roads and racetracks. The powerful engine should deliver explosive acceleration, while the advanced electronics package should help in managing the performance effectively.
