The Japanese auto giant claims the new fuel-injected BS6-compliant engine offers 10 percent more mileage than the Honda Activa 5G. We got an impressive 58.1kmpl in the city and an equally commendable 55kmpl on the highway in our real-world test of the Activa 5G. Even if we take a realistic estimate of half of Honda’s claimed efficiency improvement, you’ll still be able to (theoretically) get 61kmpl in the city and a reassuring 57.75kmpl on the highway on the new Activa! rest will depend on road/traffic conditions and riding style. In tubeless tyres, there is no inner tube in the tyre. They are expensive as compared to tube tyres but they are highly durable and they are light in weight which results in better mileage. Also, you may ride the bike with low air pressure and can be ridden to the nearest repair shop, with puncher tyre. Also, they provide a better grip and there is no chance of uneven pressure. Both have tried and tested engine and capable enough tostand longer. It will totally depend on how it will be maintained. Pleasure look better and its ride quality is effortless as well. It retains its easy-riding ability, which is further enhanced by the new engine. But, these updates feel like they are a few years late, giving you the impression that they have only managed to bring the Pleasure on par with its rivals. We would have loved to see more features and better ride quality, which could have given it a serious edge over its rivals. But as things stand, the new Pleasure’s edge remains its pricing. On the other hand, the new list of updates on India’s most popular scooter have made the Activa 6G a more exciting proposition than before. However, the Activa 6G still misses out on some basic features which should have been standard by now. You may compare both the scooters accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details. Read More

Both the bikes are comfortable enough irrespective of rider's gender. If we talk about Hero Destini 125, being a 125 cc scooter is has better power performance. The potent engine is met with a similarly taut ride setup. The underbone might not be something new but the suspension tuning is on the firmer side. Hero’s primary aim with the Destini was to make it a great people carrier, facilitating two-up riding. Hence, with a pillion (i.e. with the suspension loaded), the scooter takes in small bumps nicely. If you are riding solo and are on the lighter side, the same bumps can feel uncomfortable though. On the another hand, Honda has finally equipped the twenty-one-year-old scooter with a telescopic fork! But not entirely though. While the ride quality is leaps and bounds better than the woefully obsolete, rudimentary trailing link suspension of the 5G, it is still a little on the harsh side. One workaround is that you can tweak the 3-stage preload-adjustable single shock absorber to the softer side, which should help the ride quality become a little more supple, at least at the rear. You may compare the specifications and features of both the scooters accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details. Read More

Suzuki has stuck to the 124cc single-cylinder engine for the BS6 Suzuki Burgman 125, the motor is now fuel-injected. With the BS6 updates, there is a slight change in engine output. While max power of 8.7PS is the same as on the BS4 motor, peak torque of 10Nm is 0.2Nm lower. Though it is a bit heavy, in our test, 0-60kmph sprint was achieved in 8.69 seconds, as opposed to 9.20 seconds on the Access. And as if that wasn’t enough, the Burgman Street pipped the Access by 3kmph to reach a true top speed of 93kmph in our test runs. Roll-on times from 20-50kmph are the same though: 4.65 seconds. So while it’s quick at the bottom and the top, the added weight does impact its momentum in the city. Nothing worth complaining though. Coming to refinement, the Burgman also feels more refined than the Access, which sounds a bit gruff throughout. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride in order to clear your doubts. In general, the down payment remains in between 10-30% of the on-road price of the vehicle and ROI varies between 10-12% and it totally depends on the CIBIL/Credit score of an individual.
