Overview
The Ampere Reo and the Reo Vyb are no-nonsense low-speed electric scooters built with urban needs in mind, and do not require a license to ride. They are positioned below the higher-end Magnus and Nexus range of Ampere’s electric scooters.
Ampere Reo Price
The Ampere Reo 80 is priced at Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom), while the Reo Vyb is priced at Rs 69,499 (introductory, ex-showroom).

Ampere Reo Colours
The Ampere Reo 80 comes in 3 colours: Black, White, and Red. The Ampere Reo Vyb is available in 4 colours: Warm White, Pastel Purple, Dark Grey, and Aqua Metallic.
Ampere Reo Design
The Reo 80 has a slightly more old-school angular styling, while the Reo Vyb scooter has a modern & minimalist design. They both get a large floorboard, a spacious seat, and a chunky grab handle. The Reo Vyb is equipped with all LED lighting, while the Reo 80 only gets LED DRLs with a halogen headlamp. Overall, both scooters look smart and youthful.
Ampere Reo Motor, Battery And Range
Both variants of the scooter are powered by a 250W motor with a top speed of 25kmph. Both get a 1.44kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery pack with a claimed range of 80km. The battery pack can be fully charged in 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Ampere Reo Features
Both variants get an LCD instrument cluster. The Reo Vyb gets a keyless start, while the Reo 80 gets a regular key. Both scooters come with a 24-litre underseat storage compartment.
Ampere Reo Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The scooters are equipped with a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The Reo 80 gets 10-inch wheels, while the Reo Vyb is equipped with a 12-inch front and a 10-inch rear wheel. The Reo 80 uses drum brakes at both ends, while the Reo Vyb gets a front disc brake. The Reo 80 has 135mm of ground clearance, while the Reo Vyb sits slightly higher at 140mm.
