The japanese auto major Yamaha showcased its first three wheeled vehicle christened as Tricity at the 2013 EICMA. Following a different path of development the unique leaning multi-wheel scooter Tricity uses two wheels at the front , while single at the rear.

A 125cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine with automatic transmission will power this 150kg scooter, which provides best balance between performance and low running cost.

It uses independent telescopic forks at both the front wheels, which helps to provide leaning action to the scooter. When the scooter takes a turn, inner wheel in the front pushed inside, which helps to balance the scooter on quick turns.

Other features of the scooter are similar to the other scooters in the market and it uses a disc brake on each wheel.

This is not all, Yamaha will price this amazng three wheel scooter below € 4,000, which is much lower than the price of other vehicles available in the respective segment in the market.
