After introducing 4 new paint jobs on their flagship bike YZF R15 V2.0, Yamaha Motor India now has given a new paint job to their successful Ray scooter in the Starry White colour scheme. The 2013 model of Yamaha Ray in Starry White is now available for booking across all Yamaha dealerships in India. With this new paint job, Yamaha Ray is now available in 7 exciting shades including Starry White, Plush Pink, Black Star, Shining Blue, Burgundy Bliss, Pastel Purple and Grey Grandeur. The new paint job has been launched in Mumbai in the presence of their brand ambassador Deepika Padukone.
Speaking on the occasion, Masaki Asano, said, “The year 2012 has been an exceptional year for us as we were able to launch our first scooter ‘Ray’. The Yamaha Ray was launched keeping in mind the young urban women who are looking for a stylish yet comfortable ride. With the Yamaha Female Riding Training Program, we want to provide training to many such young women who want to experience the joys of riding a scooter.”
Yamaha Ray is doing very well for Yamaha and currently holds a total of 4% of the market share in automatic scooter market in India. The scooter is giving stiff competition to the likes of Honda Activa and Dio, Hero MotoCorp Maestro and TVS Wego. As the scooter has been targeted for fairer sex, this new colour will attract more buyers towards it for sure.

Very nice bike and experience of 1 year is excellent. Agar aap isko kharidne ka soch rahe ho to badiya mast choice hai aur iski price bhi bahut kam hai. Bike ka colour bhi badiya hai aur bike ki mileage bhi aur mai to extra petrol le kar chalta hu aur light weight hai. Iska cc bhi badiya hai. Very nice bike.Read More
If anyone is looking for a good mileage scooter, this would be the best option you may have in market. Also go with the street rally edition because it looks very good. Yamaha has a bit expensive parts but this scooter parts are quite cheap in price which makes this good option. Overall experience with this bike is good.Read More
