Apart from the new colours, the maxi-scooter remains unchanged mechanically

Yamaha is aggressively updating its product portfolio in Indonesia. Recently, the company updated the XMAX 250, and now it has launched the latest iteration of the NMax 155, which has only received cosmetic updates.

The 155cc scooter now gets two new colours: Matte Green and Metallic Red. The Matte Green colour is complemented by golden alloy wheels that lend the scooter a stylish look. Meanwhile, the Metallic Red paint scheme makes it look more sporty. The Matte Green colour is available with all three variants (Standard, ABS, Connected), while the Metallic Red colour is offered with the Standard and Connected variants.

Powering the NMax 155 is the same 155cc liquid-cooled engine assisted by VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) that also powers the Aerox 155 and YZF R15. This engine delivers 15.36PS and 13.9Nm.

As mentioned earlier, the NMax 155 is available in three variants. The Connected/ABS and Connected Version are priced at Rp. 34,800,000 (approx Rs 1.81 lakh) and Rp. 31,950,000 (approx Rs 1.66 lakh) on-road Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Standard variant costs Rp. 30,700,000 (approx Rs 1.60 lakh) on-road Jakarta. If you’re looking for a sporty scooter in India, you can have a look at the Yamaha Aerox 155.
