Yamaha Lexi Maxi-style Scooter Gets New Updates For Its 2022 Avatar

Sadly, the updates are all cosmetic

Sadly, the updates are all cosmetic

Yamaha Indonesia has updated the Lexi maxi-style scooter with new colours for 2022. The Yamaha Lexi is currently offered in three variants, namely the Lexi Standard which retails for Indonesian Rupiah 22,540,000 (on the road, Jakarta) which equates to about Rs 1,19,092, before taxes. Similarly, the Lexi S retails for IDR 25,565,000 (or about Rs 1,35,114) and the Lexi S ABS retails for IDR 28,190,000 or about Rs 1,48,988.

The standard variant gets an additional paint scheme called Matte Green. Other Yamaha maxi-scooter models such as the XMax and NMax 155 connected series already had the Matte Green, and it finally made its way to the Lexi now.

In addition to the new colour, the Lexi now also gets new graphics with minimalist gold highlights on the front, side and rear bodywork, giving it an elegant appeal.

Along with the standard variant, the colour updates are carried out on the S variant as well. The popular Prestige Silver, Matte Black and Matte Blue colours have been tweaked and all the three colour variants get alloy wheels finished in bronze for a sporty appeal.

The Yamaha Lexi carries on with the 124.7 liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which pumps out 11.89PS  at 8000rpm and 11.3Nm at 7000rpm. A seat height of 785mm and a kerb weight of 112kg makes it easily accessible for all kinds of riders. Unfortunately, Yamaha is unlikely to launch the Lexi in India, but if you're looking for a sporty maxi-style scooter, then the Aprilia SXR125 could be a great choice for you. And those looking for outright performance will, of course, like the NTorq 125.

Yamaha Aerox 155

The scooter is amazing. Great performance and good mileage as well was getting around 35 kmpl in city. Great handling and high-speed stability with good breaks. Everything is good but the scooter is not suitable for tall riders. The boot could fit an entire full-face helmet inside as well along with space to keep a jacket as well. Read More

Good scooty with lots of flaws to be corrected

Because of its performance. It looks good. It has a good pickup and the balance is also very good. The agility is also decent. And the engine is super refined. And it stands out in its competition easily. I have a mixed experience with this bike. The battery got dead in just 6000 km. I had to replace the battery. The issue with the rear rim was the worst. The socket in which the rim fits it got loose and when i went to the service centre, they didn't come up with the solution. The front suspension is so hard that you can't even take small pots on the road. And the fit and finish can be much better. The rear break is week. If the road condition is very good and millage is not an issue and someone who wants a scooter which can deliver power and has a good road presence can consider it. But personally I would not purchase again this scooter.Read More

Yamaha Aerox dashing review.

I choose this because of the muscular looks and the bulkiness. I love the muscular looks specially this Yamaha Aerox. And the feel when you ride this giant scooter on road everyone see this like how a scooter looks like this muscular. Ride is comfortable and smooth braking system. And specially the disc is so much good that you just put your fingers on the brake and it stop immediately. And the comfortness of the back rider is also good. Yes who need a muscular body type scooty obviously go for it blind foldy. You get a smooth experience when your ride it on road. And the boot space is also huge you can store many things including helmet also.Read More

i choose this bike because it looked good , i specifically liked the red and black combo , the red wheels looks amazing and i liked the styling of the scooter, mileage was also amazing like other scooters. The ride is amazing i have went many places in this scooter with my friend and we have yet not faced any major issue during the ride we took it off road to jungle road also but everything was fine specifically the suspensions better as compared to other scooters in market . i think students should buy this its a little rough and tough it looks good has a good pickup has a decent storage space and finally gives a good milage and it does not make any loud sounds during the start so you can easily take it out for night outs.Read More
