Upcoming Ather 450 Apex Teased!
The upcoming electric scooter will be the most powerful and feature-packed Ather scooter
Ather Energy has been working on launching a more powerful variant of the 450X in early 2024 and now, thanks to a teaser shared by the EV maker, we know that the electric scooter will be called the Ather 450 Apex.

The ‘Apex’ name seems apt for the scooter as Tarun Mehta (CEO) while confirming the upcoming launch of this scooter and another one as well, said that the variant will be the most powerful and have the best-in-class features. Also, one can see the camouflaged scooter in the teaser, and it looks like there won’t be any design changes compared to the Ather 450X.
We expect the 450 Apex to get the 3.7kWh capacity battery pack but with more power output than the 6.4kW output on the 450X. It might get cruise control and perhaps even dual-channel ABS along with transparent body panels, which the CEO said will make a comeback.

The Ather 450X Apex is expected to fetch a price tag of Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru including FAME 2 subsidy), which will be a premium of Rs 10,000 over the 450X’s 3.7kWh variant and as mentioned above, will be launched in early 2024. Its rivals will be the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2, TVS X and Simple One.
