Design & Styling
The X-47 Recon adopts an adventure-crossover stance, a clear departure from the sportier F77 models. It features an upright riding position designed for comfort, a moderately tall 820mm seat height, and a substantial 200mm of ground clearance suited for light off-roading. The motorcycle is built on a steel trellis frame, which is shared across the entire X-47 range. Importantly, the styling and ergonomics are identical on the Recon as they are on the base model and top-spec variants. Differentiation comes from technology, not design. It is available in three colourways: Laser (Turbo Red), Shadow (Cosmic Black), and Airstrike (Stellar White).
Features
The standout feature of the Recon is its UV HyperSense Radar. This offers a monitoring distance of around 200 metres, enabling features like rear collision warning, lane change assist, and blindspot monitoring. The motorcycle also includes a 5-inch TFT display, premium LTE and Bluetooth connectivity, and 10-level dynamic regenerative braking. However, several features remain optional extras even at this price point. A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and the Violette A.I. suite (with features like Crash Alert and Lockdown) are optional. Similarly, the dashcam module is reserved for the top-spec Desert Wing variant.

This larger battery is the Recon's primary upgrade. It powers a motor that produces 30 kW of peak power and 100Nm (peak), enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 145 km/h (all claimed). While the Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range is 323 km, real-world figures are estimated between 186 km (Ballistic mode) and 266 km (Glide mode).

Very economical, though initial investment is more, but if you ride heavily you will find it cheap in long run. Awesome power delivery and safety features. Best for city commuting and also medium offroading. Pillion riding is also good. Add on features like tpms and rear and front camera is like a good upgrade. Original variant is enough for a guy with daily ride of 70km per day average. For long touring and if having range anxiety go for recon or recon plus model. I plan my rides properly so i all end up only using at 20 percentage remaining.
