TVS Unveiled Two New Special Edition Ronin Bikes At Rann Utsav
These two bikes pay homage to the culture and heritage of the Rann of Kutch region
TVS Motor Company recently partnered with the Gujarat Tourism board to promote the Rann Utsav festival and the rich cultural heritage of the state. As part of this collaboration, the company unveiled two new exclusive 'Rann Utsav' edition motorcycles based on the TVS Ronin, as a tribute to Gujarat’s culture, the state's traditions, its vast and scenic landscapes.
Design
Both these custom Ronins showcase unique design elements that reflect Gujarat's cultural heritage, particularly the artistic motifs from the region of Kutch. The bikes feature intricate custom paint inspired by traditional ‘Ajrak’ print art, a centuries old, hand block technique originating from Ajrakhpur village. The design includes depictions of camel safaris against the moonlit White Rann desert on the fuel tanks and side panels of the bikes.
What’s Unchanged
Mechanically, the Ronin remains unchanged, with the same 225.9cc, single-cylinder, air-and-oil cooled engine that makes 20.4PS and 19.93Nm. Even components like the inverted fork and monoshock suspension setup, disc brakes and 17-inch wheels at both ends remain the same as the standard bike. The bike comes equipped with features like adjustable levers, LED lighting all around, two ride modes, TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts.
Other Activities At The Event
In addition to these two bikes, TVS had also curated several exclusive events and activities at the Rann Utsav, like the TVS Adventure Zone - where visitors could participate in activities like stunt riding displays, view many special and custom Ronins, which were also displayed at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and MotoSoul 2024. Other highlights included scenic rides to Sunset Point, a ‘Road to Heaven’ ride through Kutch, and a star gazing experience under the desert night sky.
