TVS iQube S 3.5kWh: Discontinued

This discontinuation makes more sense…

[UPDATE: TVS launched the 2026 iQube S in India on May 6, 2026]

The TVS iQube S variant has been silently taken down from the TVS’s website. This was a mid-spec variant landing between the base iQube and flagship iQube ST variants. The discontinued variant used to cost Rs 1,34,940 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

The TVS iQube S variant used to come with a 3.5kWh battery pack and offered the same range and performance. Both the scooters have an IDC-claimed range of 145km, a claimed top speed of 78kmph and peak power of 4.4kW. Both the scooters have a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity which enables turn-by-turn navigation, call/text alerts, music control and remote live charging status. But it was the iQube S, which has a larger 7-inch unit and a joystick to navigate through it, whereas the base variant gets a 5-inch TFT without any joystick.

Why Did TVS Discontinue The ‘S’?

It appears that the brand quietly pulled the iQube S from its website to make the line-up more straightforward. The iQube S was sitting too close to the base variant while offering similar levels of features, range and performance. This made justifying the price tag of the S variant quite hard. So, to make things easier for the buyer, the iQube range has the base iQube (2.1kWh/ 3.1kWh & 3.5kWh) for budget-conscious buyers and the feature-loaded iQube ST (5.3kWh) for people who want the full package.

Comfort for daily commute

The upright riding posture and suspension tuned for comfort make it suitable for city riding. The iqube provide smooth acceleration and is efficient for urban riding with sufficient range for daily travel. The entire experience made me trust in the i qube's build quality and it's sustainability with indian road. Pat holes and uneven surfaces are part of daily commuting. The navigation feature is not always reliable. I find build quality was good and the reliability over the time. The more valuable for money indian scooter with strong build and ride quality with 14 inch tyre and unmatched customisation with their official accessories.Read More

Smartphone connectivity is way better

I looked for comfort, range, and a wide seat as I often carry a pillion. The iQube provided all of that, plus features like smartphone connectivity. My research compared it with Ather, but I felt TVS was more reliable long-term. I’ve been using the iQube for daily city commuting, and it’s been excellent. The silence, comfort, and smoothness are unmatched. Range is adequate, but charging stations are limited outside the city. Service centers are reliable and easy to find. The iQube is a must-buy for people who want simple, low-maintenance travel. I’d recommend it for office workers, students, and women riders. Avoid it if you expect sporty performance or long-distance comfort.Read More
