TVS and MyTVS Company are now separated

TVS is the best known two wheeler manufacturing company in the Indian market. There are many models of bike that are into the Indian market and thus have created good impressions on the Indian customers. The bikes from the TVS Company are available in very affordable prices. The comfort and the performance of the TVS bikes are very nice. The various models of two wheelers from the TVS Company that has gained much name and fame are the TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS, TVS Scooty, TVS Wego and TVS Jive. These are the two wheelers which are mostly seen on the Indian roads.  The bike manufacturing company also has a long list of other bikes that is out in to the Indian market. The TVS Company is also experiencing profit growth.

 

The T V Sundararam Iyengar and Sons who were the part of the business partners of the TVS group has hived off their group firm MyTVS in to separate company. They are planning to make an investment of Rs. 500 crore over the next three years. The news revealed that the hived reason is till unknown. Now the new entity and that is the TVS Automobile solutions is going to have private equity investments of Rs. 78 crore from Mumbai based Kitara capital. The private equity form will now have 30 percent stake in the TVS Company. The director of the TVS Company R Dinesh has cleared about this fact. This is for the second time where a private equity firm is being involved after the TVS Logistics service which was hived off in 2008. The TVS automobile solutions is ready to make Rs. 250 crore  investments in the coming three years and the rest Rs. 250 crore is required from the joint ventures. The Chennai based firm is having a good hold in the entire southern region. The investment that is going to be done through the joint ventures would help to have a pan India presence.

The first 250 crore will be invested by the company and the rest 250 crore will be raised form the joint ventures. There are three to four companies which are on the talk to enter the joint venture and the joint ventures sign up is most likely to be done within a period of three to six months. The company is still promising to deliver good performance two wheelers on the Indian roads.
