The Japanese electric vehicle manufacturer- Terra Motors is going to increase its network in India with 80 dealerships in different states by the end of 2016. All of these will be authorized dealerships and will offer some new electric vehicles including three-wheelers. These new vehicles will be based on better and more advanced technologies than used in the current e-vehicles available in the country.

Teppei Seki, Country Director, Terra Motors India said, "As we are progressing and expanding our footprint in India, the new dealership will mark our entry into several states, which houses many industries. Therefore, we are confident that our electric rickshaws, known for their ruggedness, durability, battery efficiency and after service support will appeal to our customers."

He also stated that India is a key market in Terra's growth strategy and the company is hopeful that the dealership would help it further strengthen its position.

Terra Motors entered the Indian market in January 2014 with the very first electric superbike of the country- Kiwami, priced at Rs. 18 lacs. The company also made its presence in the 2014 Indian Auto Expo with two more vehicles- A4000i electric scooter and T4 electric three-wheeler. However, these have not been launched yet. So, we can also expect the launch of these amazing products along with the new dealerships.
