Finally the highly awaited bike New Suzuki GS150R was caught running on Indian roads earlier during this week. This was revealed in recent published rumours which also publish the pictures of New Suzuki GS150R running on roads.  However, the first impression that comes in mind about New Suzuki GS150R which comes at mind after its first look is that the New Suzuki GS150R over-rules the already existing model as far as looks of both the models are compared. Besides this nothing seems to different from the erstwhile model. The most upgraded cosmetic changes in New Suzuki GS150R as compared to its predecessor is its extended length otherwise the other items like engine, clutch, gearbox, front headlights, taillights and other items are same.

The erstwhile model of Suzuki GS150R is embedded with 150cc engines that generates the power of 13.5 bhp, the other features integrated are 6 speed gearbox, kick lever and electric start, front disc brake, CDI ignition, 13.4 Nm torque, air-cooled engine, BS26 with TPS carburetor. The price of existing Suzuki GS150R is Rs. 66,752 (on road at Pune in Maharashtra). There are rumours that the New Suzuki GS150 R will also be priced with same price tag.

The main reason behind the launch of New Suzuki GS150R was due to increasing competition in bike market during last few months especially when other competitors like Yamaha had introduced its FZ series bikes with new colours, Hero Honda modified its Hero Honda Hunk model and the renowned auto company Bajaj rejuvenated its Bajaj Discover 150 model with new modifications. In such existing competition it was felt necessary to introduce some changes by Suzuki in its highly appreciated bike Suzuki GS 150R. There are rumours that New Suzuki GS150R will make its debut in the Indian auto industry soon in the coming months this year.

Suzuki 150R Is A Bless.

I'm driving this bike for the last 11years driving about 56000 km. Its average is about 50+kmpl. No major expenditure was done except for some accidental parts changes. 6 gears make it a splendid silent smooth bike. Suzuki should reconsider it with decreased height and BS 6 modulations.Read More

An undesired retirement of the best performer.

The best performing bike I have ever used. With 6 speed transmission it provides the best mileage. Wear and tear of parts are minimum. Prices of spares are very reasonable. Availability is there, with the company's best cooperation at times. The performance of the bike is excellent in city riding conditions as well as in long drives. The unique point is that the bike can be set in 3 modes of engine running conditions to suite your riding requirements, a feature that I have not found in any Indian bikes. An innovative feature is the digital display of the gear in which the bike is engaged. A Fabulous bike, I wonder why the company pulled it out of road, very sad.Read More
