The Indian wing of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited (SMIL), has unveiled its 150cc naked sport bike - Gixxer. The bike has been unveiled in the presence of bollywood superstar and brand ambassador of the company, Mr. Salman Khan at an event held in Mumbai. The bike has got an attractive styling with a new, advanced single cylinder engine using SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, which is an engine technology which boasts top-class fuel efficiency without compromising power and performance.

According to Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIL, “Suzuki is keen on providing products for the Indian customer at every price point. The new products will give a refreshing experience and will simultaneously be evocative of the Suzuki legacy of Value Packed Products. We expect both the Gixxer and Let’s to create a strong foothold for themselves in the market.”

Commenting on Suzuki’s brand endorsers, Mr. Atul Gupta added, “Salman Khan’s association with the brand has been long-standing and successful. Parineeti Chopra is the fresh, young vivacious face that connects with Indian youth and their quest for freedom and new expression. We are privileged to have her represent the brand and connect to young India.”

Suzuki Gixxer boasts an aggressive styling and comes with a sporty headlight and nicely carved fuel tank, which makes its appearance muscular. Its dual stage seat with the stylish rear cowls makes a great combination and gels well with rest of the styling. The best part of the bike is its sporty exhaust muffler, which enhances the sportiness of the bike.

The bike not only looks like a sports bike but it also comes with an impressive setup, which includes telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock suspension with aluminium swing-arm at the rear. Front wheel has been equipped with a petal disc brake, while rear gets a drum brake. The newly designed 6 spoke alloys have been covered by wide tubeless tyres for better grip and traction.

Complemented by alight and stiff frame for sporty handling the engineers at Suzuki, with their vast experience and racing heritage have developed a powerful new engine with cutting edge technology, which is achieved by reducing all kinds of mechanical losses, efficient design of every component and attention to detail in our manufacturing process. It gives an exceptional running performance with a broad low-end torque and dynamic mid-range power for strong acceleration, while maintaining the fuel economy at the same time. Loaded with exciting equipment, immense power and ease of handling, the GIXXER is an invitation to ride!

That's all we have for now, we will keep you updated for the same.

Impresses On Highways

While the engine impresses on highways, comfort for the pillion might be a concern. Nevertheless, with a commendable mileage exceeding 50 on highways, this 155 cc bike stands out in its class. There's potential for enhancement in safety features, particularly focusing on pedal functionality.Read More

Nearly 23000 km covered 2018 BS4 And Excellent Car

Nearly 23000km covered the 2018 BS4 model. Quality parts are good, I got an accident an year ago with a car surprised that only my leg guard bent and little scratch on a tank. The car bonet was completely has broken. Pros:- 1. Good looking (especially tank size and look) 2. Good quality 3. We can cruise at speed of 65 to 85 on highway if no crosswind (we can go further but use windshield). However, am cruising around 65 to 75 speed in most case. 4. After 1 year, my exhaust sound is better (using motul engine oil, the engine is a little more smooth). 5. Breaking confidence is super (good breaking my bike equipped with dual disc no abs). Cons:- 1. Pillion seat is not good and also back seat and height is high (only zero fig.can sit there). 2. When hard braking rider moving to tank side. 3. The service cost is a little high. So, just buy a product from an authorized center and change yourself or with a local workshop.Read More
