The Suzuki E-Access will be coming to India soon, and now we have confirmation about the launch timeline. The upcoming e-scooter will likely be launched by the end of June 2025, and could be priced at around Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The production of the electric scooter started in India on May 23 at the Gurugram plant in Haryana.
The Suzuki E-Access is the Japanese manufacturer’s first electric scooter in India, and it features a distinct design. It was first unveiled at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It looks a lot sharper than the regular Suzuki Access 125.
The scooter will be powered by a 4.1kW motor, and a 3.07kWh fixed battery pack. The motor will give the e-scooter a claimed top speed of 71kmph and a claimed range of 95km on full charge. The battery will take 6 hours and 42 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 percent with the portable charger and 2 hours and 12 minutes with a fast charger.
The scooter gets a telescopic fork and a single-sided shock absorber. It rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends with braking duties taken care of by a disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The E-Access gets a 5-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity for features such as turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. The scooter also gets keyless start, which will allow riders to turn the scooter on from a distance.
The Suzuki E-Access will go up against other electric scooters in the market such as the Ola S1 X, TVS iQube, Honda QC1, Ather Rizta and the Bajaj Chetak 2901.

wanted an electric alternative. had an activa generation 2 before this. rented this from a friend in another state and have been riding it ever since. And since suzuki has their own platform for e-service, i was interested to ride it and check it out overall. about alright. suspension is on the stiffer side but overall smooth! the seat comfort and height is very friendly, as compared to other scooters in the market, anyone in the 5ft in range can easily ride this without any fear. I would recommend this bike only if you ride short distances. This is the kind of EV that offers average range as compared to the bigger brands that have been around for a decent bit, not to name any names. Overall, a 3.8 rating from my end is a good standard rating.Read More
