An old video showing actor Sonu Sood riding through Spiti valley without wearing any safety gear went viral on instagram and X (formerly Twitter). The video attracted a lot of criticism as the actor has been a major advocate for riding safely, with many netizens feeling that he set a bad example.
The now-viral video was first shared online a few days ago, and it showed the actor riding in Spiti valley without wearing a helmet and riding gear. The actor was only wearing shorts and boots during the ride, and this sparked much debate online.

Sonu Sood later released a clarification on the same via instagram saying “Safety first. We always abide by the law, an old clip without helmet was part of the script. So kindly ignore. Ride Safe. Ride Smart. Always Wear A Helmet”. The surprising thing here is that the video was first shared by Sonu Sood himself on his social media accounts back in December 2023 when the actor was shooting for the film ‘Fateh’ and it had not drawn as much attention back then.
