Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Features Explained
Tripper Pod, Dual-Channel ABS and more. Here’s what you will get in your Royal Enfield Hunter 350:
Priced from Rs 1,37,640 (ex-showroom, Chennai), the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 stands as the brand's most affordable and city-focused motorcycle. A recent 2026 update introduced several key features, making it feature-packed and creating the distinction between its variants more important than ever. Here’s what you will get:
Convenience Features
The Hunter 350 is split into four variants—Base, Base Premium, Mid, and Top—with convenience features scaling up significantly with the price. While all models share the same 349 cc air-oil-cooled engine producing 20.2 PS, the riding experience is shaped by the equipment list. The Mid and Top variants come standard with an LED headlamp and tail lamp, offering a genuine improvement in night-time visibility over the halogen unit on the Base models. Another practical addition is the Tripper Navigation Pod, which is a small secondary screen for turn-by-turn navigation. This is standard on the Mid and Top trims, allowing a rider to follow directions without mounting their phone on the handlebar. Furthermore, these higher-spec models include a fast-charging USB-C port, a useful feature for charging devices on the go. Back in 2025 it also got an assist-and-slipper clutch, which not only makes the clutch lever feel lighter in traffic but also smoothens downshifts. Here’s what each variant gets:

Safety Features
The most critical difference between the Hunter 350 variants lies in the safety equipment. The entry-level Base and Base Premium models are equipped with a single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that only works on the front wheel. While the higher variants get dual channel ABS. This prevents wheel lock-up during hard braking. The Base and Base Premium variants also miss out on a rear disc brake setup and use a 153mm drum brake at the rear. On the other hand, the Mid and Top variants come paired with a 300 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc, providing progressive and reliable stopping power. Top 5 Retro Bikes Under Rs 1.5 Lakh In IndiaBikeDekho Says
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is an accessible, good-looking city bike, but its value changes a lot depending on the variant. The Base and Base Premium trims get a rear drum brake and single-channel ABS — a real compromise when compared to rivals. The Mid variant is the real sweet spot: it adds a rear disc brake, dual-channel ABS, tubeless tyres, an LED headlight, and the Tripper Navigation Pod — all genuinely useful upgrades, not just cosmetic ones. The Top variant is mechanically identical to the Mid, just with more colour options. So for most buyers, the Mid or Top variants are where the Hunter 350 truly delivers on features, character, and value for money.
