After making all onlookers green with envy, Royal Enfield has updated its flagship cafe racer model - Continental GT - with a new Green colour option. The new paint scheme harkens back to the legendary British Racing Green colour, and it comes matched to a Tan-coloured seat cover. However, the new GT Green colour replaces GT Yellow in the options list, with the other two being GT Red and GT Black.

The new Royal Enfield Continental GT Green retains all the classic chrome parts along with the yellow-painted rear suspension springs. There are no mechanical changes in the bike, and all the specifications of the motorcycle remain unchanged, as does its price tag of Rs. 1.92 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Continental GT is powered by a 535cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine fed by an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system. The torquey mill makes up to 44Nm of torque at just 4,000rpm, while delivering a power of 29.1bhp at 5,100rpm. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox using a wet multi-plate clutch arrangement. The entire powertrain comes together to provide a gush of acceleration which unlike any other model in the RE line-up.

The cafe racer-styled motorcycle comes with adjustable clip-on handlebars along with a single seat option to complete the look. The motorcycle features classic looking shiny spoke wheels with Pirelli rubber and Brembo disc brakes for both, front and rear. The high-performance suspension setup of the bike includes telescopic forks at the front with highly finished inner tubes and gas charged, adjustable dampers from Paioli at the rear.

Add all these features to the new GT Green colour option, and you have a true blue British retro-classic looking motorcycle in the form of the Royal Enfield Continental GT.
