Royal Enfield has launched a new Battalion Black colour for the Bullet 350. Priced at 1,74,875 (ex-showroom), the new Classic 350 Battalion Black is positioned above the Military Black and Military Red colours and below the Military SilverBlack and Military SilverRed colours.
The Battalion Black colour has gold pinstripes on the fuel tank and side panels. It gets the iconic silver, red and gold Royal Enfield badging in the fuel tank. The side panels also feature the iconic Bullet 350 logo. It features a new tail section design and a new scooping single-piece seat, with the pillion seat placed slightly higher. However, it comes with the same paint scheme as the Standard-Black colour. The new colour variant has black mirrors while the StaNdard-Black gets chrome mirrors.
The Battalion Black gets a 300mm front disc brake and a rear drum brake with a single-channel ABS whereas the Standard-Black along with other higher models has disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Battalion Black also has the same 349cc air-cooled, counter-balanced single-cylinder, J-series engine as the other variants. The engine makes 20.2PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The Bullet 350 features a semi-digital instrument console. The speedometer is analogue while the digital display shows the odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter and other basic readouts. It gets a turn-by-turn navigation pod as an optional accessory. It gets a halogen headlight with bulb-type indicators and tail light.
The retro roadster is suspended on a telescopic fork and also has fork covers. At the rear, it gets twin shock absorbers. The Bullet 350 rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with 100-section front and 120-section rear tyres. With a wheelbase of 1390mm, it gets a 170mm ground clearance, 805mm seat height and a 195kg kerb weight. It comes with a 13-litre fuel tank capacity. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 goes up against the likes of the Honda CB350, and Jawa 350.
